Recycoon App

Recycling Aid System: to provide users a tool to help them identify the garbage and then find out the correct bin for it. This function will help user avoid putting their garbage in the wrong bin. Recycling-aid system can be done by:
- Using camera, users can take a picture of product’s barcode or the product itself to identity the object, then get the info of which is the right bin for it.
- Manually search for the item by typing in the keywords.
To connect with the Education part, after each scanning result, the app will recommend related information for user to learn.

Reminder System: user need to provide their address in order to get the notification for the collection day at user’s location.This function will make sure that user won’t forget to put their bins out on the collection day.

Education feature: the app provides 2 types of learning
- The practical information: just simple facts (i.e., black plastic container goes to the Garbage bin; old machine goes toDonation Centre). User can learn this information through mini games that repeatedly exposing them to the info. That way user will imprint the lesson on their brain.
- The theoretical information: the more-explanation information and more intense on the amount of information. However, the app will show it in infographic form. Each lesson will only be maximum 2-3 min long to read.

The Earning-Point System: in order to encourage user to engage more with the app, we want to integrate the point-earning system. User will gain point through their interaction with the app. The app will ask user to take care of a virtual character. The point they earn will be used to nurture the character and buying new stuffs for it.
