Project Overview
The project comes from a graphics theme and design contest held by LCH Developments. The focus is to create a seamless graphic theme on each wall for the varying spaces in the building. The main point is to make interior of the building feel more open, inviting and grand; in addition, all the artworks should be in a continuous theme and story.
My Narrative
The theme chosen for merge spaces is an adventure in Merge Aqua Space. The idea of this theme was inspired by Scarborough Bluffs. In the adventure, there is a traveler boating through the spaces. The colour palette used is mostly blue and green to create a calming and welcoming look and feel. To give a sense of depth and 3D illusion, all the murals are executed with paper cutout effect, which the viewer can feel like they are the travellers and join adventure.
